ISHS - Cemetery Preservation Workshop

On Friday 5/20/22 and Saturday 5/21/22 the Madison County Historical Society, the St. Clair County Historical Society, and the Illinois State Historical Society hosted a cemetery preservation workshop at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Maryville, Illinois. The expert instructors are John Heider and Dawn Cobb. John is an accomplished cemetery preservation specialist with decades of experience. Dawn is an archaeologist specializing in cemetery preservation with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
