Hillsboro Glass Water Tower Removal

The Hillsboro Glass water tower was removed on Wednesday August 3, 2022. Ball Brothers purchased the glass factory in 1926. The "ball" shaped water tower was erected after World War Two ended. The announcement came in August 1997 that Hillsboro Glass would cease operations. The water tower was removed 25 years after the plant closed.
